I then wanted to explore other ways of reinterpreting the intinal imagery, so again i turned to a favourite of mine printmaking. With these particular set of prints i chose to work with open mash water colour printing, and i wanted to work on a much larger scale so i chose A1 paper. These were my outcomes:

I really like the subtle and delicate quality but at the same time how there is still a strong sense of colour and detail on both sets of prints. |
|
Detail: Hand cut sections |
|
Detail: Hand cut areas, sections protruding and receding. |

I wanted to work on the A1 paper to exaggerarte the detail of the prints and so that they could almost overwhelm the viewer when set up as a series, i also liked the final shapes of the prints as they didnt stick to the traditional rectangular shape, they looked as if they could grow of the page. |
